In Memory of Robert Mattall

Robert E. Mattall affectionately known as "White-water," passed away Oct. 10, 2004, with grace and dignity in the arms of his daughter, Penny. His life was filled with devotion to his family and friends and he touched the lives of so many people. An avid outdoorsman, he delighted in telling tales of his canoeing adventures. He never missed an opportunity to speak of his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who held a special place in his heart. He will be sadly missed by his devoted daughter, Penny (Mattall) Patterson and her husband, Bob, whom he often referred to as his son; his beloved grandson, Rob, his wife, Stephanie and their children, Ally and Jake; his brother, Kenneth; several nieces, nephews, his extended Waterville family and many friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Madeline (Rossignol), the love of his life to whom he was eternally devoted; his parents, Eugene and Lillian (Cyr) Mattall; brothers, Gordon and Larry; sisters, Velma and Jeanne Anne.  "As daylight gives way to darkness and I sit by the fireside alone, my thoughts stray back the years to a wonderful wife, family and home. Our home was bright and sunny, each day filled with laughter and love. And God looked kindly upon us and gave us his blessing. Now I am paddling home to join my loving wife."

Rest in peace, Whitewater. We will miss you up to camp.
Steve, Greg and Frank
