In Honor of those Whom We Have Lost, But Not
Forgotten
Douglas Lewis Farquhar
Doug worked at the Great Northern Paper Company in
Millinocket for forty four years, retiring without having used any sick time.
Doug enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers and nephews at the family
camp known as “Mouse Haven”. He was an aviator for 60 years, flying his last
flight in June of 2007.

Wilmont "Wiggie" Robinson
Wiggie
Robinson was a Maine Master Guide since 1950, and was a life member of the
National Rifle Association and the Maine Trappers Association.

Freda Boyd
Freda Boyd and her husband Earl were active
participants in the Northern Timber Cruisers Snowmobile Club. Freda always was
an active volunteer for the many events the club put on for the community.

John Colgan
John Colgan was one of the founders of the
Northern Timber Cruisers Snowmobile Club. He was instrumental in the
construction of the existing clubhouse as well as the purchase of the original
Tucker Sno Cats. John loved working on the trails in the fall and grooming
trails late at night in the Tuckers.

Bob
Morrison
Bobby Morrison was a longtime member of the
Northern Timber Cruisers Snowmobile Club. Bob used his woodworking and carpentry
skills to help keep the the clubhouse and museum in tip top shape. Bob was head
of the buildings and grounds committee and also enjoyed working in the kitchen
helping with public suppers. Bob and his wife Ellen were avid snowmobilers and
enjoyed their camp on South Twin Lake.

Moore
Ralph Moore was another longtime member of the
Northern Timber Cruisers Snowmobile Club. Ralph and his wife Marge could always
be seen at the clubhouse during all the events the club sponsored.

Jim
Barnes
Jim Barnes was also one of the founders of the
Northern Timber Cruisers Snowmobile Club. Jim used his woodworking skills for
the club many times and made the business signs that can be seen on the Antique
Snowmobile Museum today. Jim also headed up the construction of the Millinocket
Stream snowmobile bridge that continued to allow travel to points east of
Millinocket.

Paul
"Doc" Corrigan
Paul Doc Corrigan was an avid cross country
skier as well as outdoorsman at the Northern Timber Cruisers Snowmobile Club.
Doc was instrumental in helping maintaining the many miles of cross country ski
trails the Northern Timber Cruisers Snowmobile Club was responsible for.

Bob Bernier
Bob Bernier was a member of the Millinocket Town Council as well as a member of
the Northern Timber Cruisers Snowmobile Club. Bob supported snowmobiling in the
Katahdin Region and did so though his seat on the Millinocket Town Council.

Charles Sanders
Charles Sanders was a member of the Millinocket Town Council as well as a member
of the Northern Timber Cruisers Snowmobile Club. Charlie, as he was known to
everyone, supported snowmobiling in the Katahdin Region and did so though his
seat on the Millinocket Town Council. Charlie enjoyed his camp on a remote
island on Millinocket Lake with his family.

Mattall
Bob Mattall, "Whitewater" as he was known to many,
enjoyed the outdoors and particularly enjoyed canoeing the East Branch River
with his good friend Greg. Bob also enjoyed snowmobiling with his friends in the
Kellog Mountain, Sandy Stream and Katahdin Lake country.
