Bowlin Pond Camp Trip

This was great day to be snowmobiling in the Katahdin region. The day was spent bushwhacking off the groomed trails. No other snowmobiles were seen on our trip. It was a long day avoiding all the plow logging roads that have been created in this area. However after viewing these photos you'll know why these 4 snowmobile enthusiasts took the time to make this trip!

.

Four of us (3 Yamahas and we did let one Polaris come along) trying to find our way into Katahdin Lake. With the massive amont of new logging roads built into this country the challenge was to find our way in without traveling any plowed roads. There were no specific trails leading into the lake and it was a bushwack the entire way.
